Edward (Eddie) Montoya is a nationally recognized trial attorney, mediator, and educator with over 30 years of experience handling aviation accidents, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, insurance litigation, and cross-border disputes. As Co-Founder of Summit ADR Academy, LLC, Eddie develops and leads practical, scenario-based training for attorneys, insurance professionals, and executives focused on effective negotiation and dispute resolution.
He is the founding attorney of Montoya Law, P.A., a boutique firm with a national and international reputation for excellence in aviation law and high-stakes litigation. Fluent in Spanish and experienced in handling disputes across Latin America, Eddie brings cultural fluency and multilingual skill to cases involving diverse parties and jurisdictions.
As a certified mediator and qualified arbitrator, Eddie integrates facilitative and evaluative techniques to help parties resolve conflict with clarity and dignity. He is frequently called upon in emotionally sensitive and complex matters involving multilingual clients and layered insurance coverage issues.
